Edward Frederick Brewtnall, RWS, British 1846-1902- Venetian canal scene; pencil and watercolour heightened with scratching out on paper, signed with initials and inscribed 'Venice / E.F.B' (lower right), 17.3 x 27.3 cm. Provenance: Private Collection, UK. Note: Brewtnall studied at the Lambeth School of Art, and went on to exhibit at the Royal Academy, Society of British Artists, Grosvenor Gallery, and Royal Watercolour Society.
