Ernst Lorenz-Murowana, Mondnacht am Glindower See Fischer auf dem bei Potsdam gelegenen See im Mondschein, pastose Landschaftsmalerei in warmer Farbigkeit, Öl auf Holztafel, 2. Hälfte 20. Jh., links unten signiert "Lorenz-Murowana", auf der Rückseite bezeichnet "Glindower See", leichte Altersspuren, gerahmt, Falzmaße ca. 36,5 x 49 cm. Künstlerinfo: eigentlich Ernst Hugo Lorenz, nannte sich als Künstler nach seinem Geburtsort „Lorenz-Murowana“, dt. Maler und Restaurator (1872 Murowana-Goslin bis 1950 Berlin), weitestgehend Autodidakt, Schüler von Prof. Mohn, Mitglied des Reichsverbandes Bildender Künstler Deutschlands, als Dekorationsmaler in Berlin tätig, Quelle: Thieme-Becker und Dressler. Artist information: actually Ernst Hugo Lorenz, called himself "Lorenz-Murowana" after his birthplace, German painter and restorer (1872 Murowana-Goslin to 1950 Berlin), largely self-taught, pupil of Prof. Mohn, member of the Reichsverband Bildender Künstler Deutschlands, active as a decorative painter in Berlin, source: Thieme-Becker und Dressler.
