Arthur Joseph Meadows (British, 1843-1907) French fishing boat coming into harbour signed and dated 'Arthur Meadows, 1872' (lower right) oil on canvas Dimensions:(34.5 x 60 cm. (13 1/2 x 23 5/8 in.)) Provenance: Private Collection UK Arthur Joseph Meadows lived predominantly in London, but travelled extensively in Europe. Meadows exhibited works at the Royal Academy between 1863 and 1872 all of which were coastal scenes, such as the present example.
