Lot description
A contemporary Studio Glass vessel, attributed to American artist Leon Applebaum (b. 1945), known for his "Lava Bowl" series. The thick-walled, rounded vessel is crafted from clear art glass heavily embedded with dense, swirling abstract inclusions in a vibrant palette including deep blues, turquoise, magenta, red, and orange-browns. The composition utilizes the thick glass walls to magnify the internal abstract design. The vessel features a polished, wide circular rim. The piece is signed on the underside, etched into the glass, consistent with the artists signature. Dimensions: 5.25"H x 7.00" dia. Weight: 7.74
