GEORGE RODGER (1908-1995) Emmanuel, son of the chief drummer of the Bunyaro Tribe, Uganda. 1954. Silver print, the image measuring 11½x9 5/8 inches (29.2x24.4 cm.), with Rodger's copyright and credit stamps, the title and date in pencil, and the title, date, and inscription "from Jinx Rodger December 1999," also in pencil in a different hand on verso.
