Provenance: Galeria Nina Menocal, Mexico City, Mexico. Condition: Three minor surface scratches Daniel Lezama is a Mexican painter born in Mexico City in 1968, known for his large-scale, provocative, and often nude figurative paintings that blend historical and mythological themes with contemporary Mexican life. He studied at the National University, has received multiple awards, is a member of the National Artist System, and has exhibited extensively in Mexico and internationally. Lezama's work is held in many major public and private collections worldwide.
