Nja MAHDAOUI (Tunis, 1937) Free Havana, 1986. Silkscreen on Arches wove paper 120.5 x 70 cm in the margin and 84.65 x 56 cm in the image Signed lower right in Latin and Arabic characters and justified in pencil lower left 41/100. Some folds. This silkscreen was produced at the René Portocarrero studio in Havana, Cuba, under the direction of Francisco Bernal, for Mahdaoui's participation in the second Havana Biennial in 1986. It was also chosen by Jabra Ibrahim Jabra to illustrate one of his novels published in 1986.
