Lot description
Calling of Saints Peter and Andrew, oil on canvas, 106 x 76 cm - framed, 115 x 90 cm. The work is a version of Federico Barocci's famous Calling of Saints Peter and Andrew, housed in the Musées Royal des Beaux-Arts in Brussels. The composition and details faithfully recall the master's original, accurately recreating the scene of the calling of the Apostles and Barocci's characteristic bright and dynamic style. Formerly G.
