RARE SIGNED MAO ZEDONG "LITTLE RED BOOK" RUSSIAN LANGUAGE FIRST EDITION, Quotations from Chairman Mao Tse-Tung, portrait of Mao Zedong following the title page with signature in blue pen, tissue guard present, original red vinyl cover with blind-stamped title above Chinese Communist five-point star on the front, 327 pp. An illegible name above numbers inscribed on the front flyleaf. Dated 1966. 5 1/8" x 3 3/4". Catalogue Note: It is unknown if this signature is by Mao, an autopen, or a secretary. It does closely align with other signatures sold as his. The son of a Hungarian Communist Party member consigned this volume. His father is said to have obtained it from the library of Janos Kadar (1912-1989), the Hungarian Communist leader, during Hungary's transition from Communist to Democratic rule in 1989.
