Peter Green (British, 1946-2020). Three Original artworks by the British singer-songwriter, guitarist and founding member of Fleetwood Mac – comprises: two artworks in colour pencil and felt tip pen on paper from Peter Green’s original sketchbooks, one of which has a red circular pencil stamp with ‘Peter’ to the centre, various sixes, 24.5 x 31.5cm and 21 x 30cm; the third artwork, a psychedelic vibrant watercolour filling the paper page also from Peter Green’s original sketchbooks, 24 x 31.5cm (3) Peter Allen Greenbaum, known professionally as Peter Green, was an English singer-songwriter, and guitarist, who was the founder and original leader of the band, Fleetwood Mac. Green was the genius behind the hits 'Albatross', 'Black Magic Woman', and 'Man of the World', and is still widely regarded as one of the greatest guitarists and songwriters of all time. Despite leaving Fleetwood Mac in 1970, Peter Green’s pioneering talents gained him a following of faithful fans which include fellow legendary guitarists such as Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Kirk Hammett, David Gilmour, and Noel Gallagher.
