Jean d'Ylen Rare Cognac Martell vintage poster 1922 62.75 h x 42.875 w in (159 x 109 cm) This luminous d'Ylen poster presents three angelic figures in pristine white, afloat in celestial blue, holding aloft an oval tableau of the Cognac Martell bottle; an image at once divine and commercial. By this time d'Ylen was well established in Paris's advertising circles, and the Martell house (founded in 1715) was asserting its legacy through artful promotion of one of the world's oldest cognac maisons. Vercasson, Paris This work will ship from Chicago, Illinois.
