Robert Chailloux, French 1913-2006- Still life with a basket of grapes, walnuts, a peach, and a glass on a ledge; oil on canvas, signed 'Rovert Chailloux' (lower left), 55.1 x 46 cm. ARR. Provenance: Private Collection, UK. Note: Chailloux was a prolific painter of still life compositions, for which he won a number of awards over the course of his career. The present work recalls a similar composition by the artist which sold at Morgan O'Driscoll, Ireland, on 24 May 2021, lot 126 (€1,500 hammer).
