Johannes (John) Frederik Hulk Junior, Dutch 1855-1913- Duck Shooting; oil on panel, signed 'John. F. Hulk' (lower right), 32 x 40 cm. Provenance: Private Collection, UK. Exhibited: [Possibly] London, Royal Academy, 1895, no.221. Note: Hulk trained under his father, the artist Johannes Frederik Hulk Senior (1829-1911), as well as with August Allebé (1838-1927) before travelling to Paris to study at the Académie Julian, and later spending twelve years in England.
