Lot description

(Munich 1843–1924) “Intrygant” with jockey Georges Stern (1883–1928) and his owner Prince Ladislaus Lubomirski (1866–1934), signed and dated Emil Adam, 1908, oil on panel, 40.5 × 54 cm, framed Ladislaus (Władysław) Lubomirski (1866–1934) was a nobleman renowned as a prominent breeder and owner of racehorses. His stallion Intrygant (by Sac-a-Papier out of Impatient) won the Austrian Gallop Derby in 1908.
