Larry Riley (Born 1947) "Waiting To Ride" Oil on Board. Larry Riley is a painter of photo-real Indian portraits and figures, primarily Navajos, and western scenes including rodeos. He is a native of Oregon where he graduated from the University of Oregon dental school, but in 1982 decided to move to Arizona and make the commitment to full-time artist. From childhood, he has had a fascination with Indian culture, and he began painting the Nez Perce while living in the Pacific Northwest.
