EUGENE BARILLOT (1841 - 1900) A BRONZE AND IVORY SCULPTURE OF A JESTER finely modelled with a carved ivory face and hands, the jester in a cap with twin points and buttoned tunic adorned with gilt accents, poised mid-dance with a parrot perched on his shoulder, raised on a circular rouge marble base with a rocky plinth featuring a small hound in relief.
