Daniele Buzzi Ticino vintage poster 1950 offset lithograph in colors 39.875 h x 25.5 w in (101 x 65 cm) Daniele Buzzi's Ticino poster is a striking celebration of Switzerland's southernmost canton, capturing the region's warmth and charm through bold colors and stylized forms. Created in the early 20th century, the poster combines modernist design sensibilities with a romanticized view of the landscape, featuring palm trees, sunlit architecture, and lush hills that evoke Ticino's Mediterranean allure. Buzzi's work reflects the growing popularity of travel posters during the interwar period, designed to entice tourists with visions of idyllic escape and cultural richness. A. Trub & Cie.
