Lot description
Louis Raemaekers Blom & Van Der AA vintage poster c. 1925 23 h x 15.625 w in (58 x 40 cm) Whereas Jacob Jansma incorporated the name of this Dutch auto insurance company into the design of a speeding roadster (see PAI-XXIV, 334), Raemaekers humanizes their "A to Z" policy coverage with a two-letter sophisticate that indisputably eludes to the quality, all-encompassing insurance that they provide. Raemaekers studied both in Holland and Belgium, lived and worked in several different countries, taught art at two different schools, and left behind a small quantity of posters of striking individuality. This is the smaller format. This work will ship from Chicago, Illinois.
