Marie Charlot (French 20th c) Beach Day oil on canvas Collector's Corner studio painting in an impressionist style signed lower left 24 x 36" 31.5 x 44" as framed. - Much like Lee Reynolds and C. Jere, Marie Charlot is a Nom De Plume of a group of designers working for Collector's Corner in the 1960's and 70's. Painted in an impressionist style to echo works by Monet and Cassatt, these paintings have gained a cult following for their nostalgic scenes and attractive presentation.
