Chuang Che (Chinese, b. 1934) 'Composition # 17' Abstract Acrylic on canvas Signed, dated 1969 l/r and verso Bearing label: Forsythe Gallery, Ann Arbor 25in. x 34 1/2in (63cm. x 88cm) Chuang Che's art is a confluence of East and West, his work is inspired both by his traditional Eastern education, often evoking calligraphy, and by the bold abstractions of Abstract Expressionism that he encountered in New York.
