Lot description
A limited edition 14/25 bronze sculpture, titled "Eagle Mother", c.1982 by Alaska artists Jacques Regat (b.1948) and Mary Regat (b.1943) of the husband-wife team of sculptors from the renowned Regat Studio. The piece depicts a woman encased within a pair of bald eagle wings, representing the story of the mother of all eagles. Signed and numbered en verso by the artist, the bronze is mounted upon a polished walnut wood base, marked with 14/25 on the underside. Measures approximately 13" x 10.5" x 24.5" tall.
