James Licini, Swiss 1937-2025 - Stahlbau VHP 100, 2001; steel, stamped with initials lower right 'JL', H38.4 x W38.4 x D24 cm (VAT Charged on the Hammer Price) Provenance: from a Private Collection Note: a self-taught artist, Licini initially worked with I-beams, angle iron, and steel plates, which he obtained directly from industrial production. In 1968, he created his first abstract iron sculptures. His large scale public sculptures can be found across Switzerland.
