Edith Lawrence, British 1890-1973 - Nightmare, c.1970s; watercolour on paper, signed lower right 'Edith Lawrence', 34.4 x 50 cm (ARR) Provenance: with Michael Parkin Fine Art Ltd., London, stock no.2130 (according to the inscribed label attached to the reverse); Private Collection Note: Lawrence was the partner of Claude Flight and the pair worked closely together, running a studio from 1927. She exhibited with George Bissill at the Redfern Gallery in 1930.
