James Goodwin McManus (American, 1882-1958), oil on board landscape painting depicting a view over a forested valley during the autumn season. The composition features a grassy foreground meadow transitioning into clusters of deciduous and evergreen trees, with distant mountain ridges beneath a muted sky. Signed and dated 1912 in the lower right corner. Presented under glass in a deep, highly ornate frame. Dimensions: 17 X 21 X 2 in. Condition: Good overall antique condition with age toning throughout. The frame exhibits typical storage wear along the edges and corners.
