Smadar Livne (Born 1959) Israeli/American, Large Abstract Embellished Giclee on Canvas. Mixed media on top of the original image, printed on the canvas. Signed bottom right. Condition: Excellent. Overall Size: 38 x 54 1/4 in. Sight Size: 36 x 48 in. Smadar Livne was born in Beit Oved in Israel in 1959. After completing military service she studied architecture, the fine arts, and literature at Haifa University, settling on painting as her calling. She moved to Lake Worth, Florida after graduating and opened her own studio, painting with mixed media acrylic on canvas. She began to incorporate photograph effects and images into her work, and in the early 2000s she opened a new home studio in Owings Mills, Maryland, where she continues to produce her large, colorful works.
