(American/Maine, 1882-1960). Ca. 1940. Oil on board. Signed lower right. Depicts a steamed fishing boat on choppy seas. Titled on verso: "The old pogie boat / Parker M. Gamage, Maine." Sight size: 24 1/2" high x 35 1/4" wide. In a bleached wood frame measuring: 29" high x 40 1/2" wide. Provenance: Property deaccessioned from the Old Dartmouth Historical Society, New Bedford, Massachusetts. Proceeds to benefit the collection.
