From the collection of Virginia 'Tito' Gay. Fred Conway one of Tito Gay's principal instructors when she was a student at Washington University pursuing her master's in fine arts. Years later Eugenia Gay, Tito's mother, was Chief Nurse at Barnes Hospital, and personally cared for Fred during his final days in August 1973.
