Leonard "Lennie" Edward Kesl (American, 1926-2012) black white engraving on paper. Titled : Proof of Family for My Own Keeping dated 1956. The work depicts a trio of stylized nude figures against a dark ground in a bold, primitive expressionist style, with etched linear features and anatomical exaggeration. Signed and dated in pencil lower right, with title inscribed lower left. Presented in a black colored wood frame. Work Size: 7.75 x 8.25 in. Dimensions: 13.25 X 13 X .75 in. Condition: Good to fair overall condition having visible toning to the mat, the paper with areas of foxing. Artwork displays age related surface spotting under glass.
