Mortimer", gebräunt und fleckig, je unter Passepartout und hinter Glas gerahmt (mit Beschädigungen), Darstellungsmaße ca. 27 x 18 cm. Künstlerinfo: britischer Maler und Graphiker (1740 Eastbourne bis 1779 London), ab 1757 Studium an der Duke of Richmond´s Academy in London, hier enge Freundschaft mit Joseph Wright und Samuel Ireland, nachfolgend unter anderem Schüler von Joshua Reynolds, 1774 Ernennung zum Präsident der Society of Artists, ab 1778 Teilnahme an Ausstellungen der Royal Academy, Quelle: Thieme-Becker und Wikipedia.
