George Raftopoulos – Untitled Heavy Oil on Linen titled "The Conversation" 2014 signed to verso aslo bottom right 126cm x 180cm A powerful and thought-provoking large-scale painting by acclaimed contemporary Australian artist George Raftopoulos. Executed in heavy oil on linen, this piece captures Raftopoulos’ unmistakable aesthetic — raw, expressive, and deeply human. The composition features abstracted figures with textured, almost sculptural brushwork that evokes emotion and tension. The atmospheric background and dynamic gestures reflect the artist’s ongoing exploration of identity, migration, and mythology.
