Franz Gräßel 1917, verso label of the exhibition in Munich 1917. - Exhibitions: The painting was exhibited: Münchener Kunstausstellung 1917 - German animal and landscape painter. G. studied 1878-84 at the Karlsruhe academy under C. Hoff, 1886-90 he studied again under W. Lindenschmit at the Munich academy where he became professor in 1911.
