Lot description

Adolphe APPIAN (French, 1818-1898): "Le Port de Genes". Etching on Japan wove paper, circa 1876-77. Reference: Jennings 44; Proute 48. Signed in pencil (faintly), lower left platemark, below the image. Image size: 16 5/8 x 11 1/2 inches. We add by the same: "Pont de Hauteville, grand planche. Etching on Japan paper, 1870. Reference: Jennings 27; Proute 30. Signed and dated in the plate. Image size: 8 5/8 x 14 1/2 inches.
