Title: Trawler Submarine Day and Night Medium: Mixed Media Signature: Signed and titled verso Provenance: J. McGuigan Fine Art, Belfast (Label Verso); CEMA Gallery, Belfast (Inscribed Verso); Private Collection Framed Description An imaginative and surreal composition, Trawler Submarine Day and Night demonstrates Kenneth Mahood’s distinct blend of satire, architectural fantasy, and narrative layering. Executed in mixed media, the piece juxtaposes nocturnal and diurnal imagery within a shared marine setting, likely invoking broader reflections on duality, concealment, and the absurdities of modern life. The work is imbued with Mahood’s characteristic wit, where the marine becomes metaphor.
