A teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna under Giorgi Morandi and Bruno Saetti, Nasica was one of the most appreciated illustrators of his time, defined as the "caricaturist of intellectuals", he worked among others for the magazines Italia ride, Novissima, Fantasio, La Lettura and il Secolo XX.
