MALCOLM DE CHAZAL (MAURITIAN 1902- 1981) VILLAGE AND TREE signed (lower right), poster paint on sugar paper 50.3cm x 65.5cm (19 ¾in x 25 ¾in), unframed The Collection of Gillian Raffles. In January 1967 the Mercury Gallery mounted a highly successful exhibition of the work of Malcolm de Chazal in association with the High Commission of Mauritius and with the help of Tom Driberg M.P..
