WOW!! Laran Ghiglieri "Stagecoach Gold" Bronze Sculpture. Laran Ghiglieri honed his craft through apprenticeship, following a family legacy of master sculptors. His great-grandfather, Battista Ghiglieri, carved the marble lions of the New York Stock Exchange, while his father, Lorenzo, created bronzes for world leaders. Studying under his father for over 20 years, Laran traveled globally, drawing inspiration from museums and diverse cultures. By age 20, he had produced hundreds of bronzes and paintings, including massive sculptures of eagles and elephants. His dynamic depictions of athletes and wildlife gained recognition in charity auctions, distinguishing him within his family’s artistic tradition. Beyond realism, Laran explores fantasy art and Old Masters' reproductions for personal inspiration. Western American history remains his greatest muse, inspiring both his sculptures and short historical fiction. Living in Oregon, he immerses himself in Native American stories, translating them into three-dimensional art. His latest series of cowboys, pioneers, and Americana blends vibrant colors, pen and ink, and multimedia techniques, offering a fresh take on history while honoring his family's artistic heritage.
