JOHANNES WIERIX (Flemish, 1549-c.1620) "Portrait of Jan Van Amstel" 1694 / 1929. This impression was made in 1929. Etching on paper. Signed in plate upper left. 6.75 x 5 inches (17.2 x 13 cm). Very good condition with typical wear, lightly tipped onto backing. Includes a copy of 1986 receipt from Craddock and Barnard (London UK). From the Gary Robertson Historical Print Collection (Regina). This print can be found in several important collections including the National Portrait Gallery (London, UK).
