Bourmond Byron (Haitian, 1920-2004) Fishing, circa 1960, oil on masonite, 12.25'' x 24''/ 31 x 61 cm. Unframed. While Jacmel remained his home, Byron joined Port-au-Prince's Centre d'Art in 1955. He is renowned for the use of light in his works.
