Heading: Author: [Original Art] Bill Ward Title: Original Art * BILL WARD * Blackhawk Ink and Watercolor Drawing Place Published: Publisher: Date Published: c.1980s Description: Original Bill Ward drawing of Blackhawk, pen and ink on art paper, watercolor highlights, several white paint touch-ups. Signed in the bottom right margin ("Ward") and captioned "BLACKHAWK 1943-52," and additionally signed "Bill Ward." Image area approx. 10x13" (matted and framed to 12¼x15¼"). Fine or better condition. Blackhawk busts a cap with his ever-chatterin' burp gun, bagging unseen Nazis like it ain't no thang. Too bad Torchy's not parachuting alongside, drawn with all the usual Bill Ward verve – then we'd be talking four fat figures instead of the hundred crummy bucks or so this'll probably fetch. ************************ Coming Soon: The DC Universe Collection Part 5: Silver, Gold and Bronze.
