MAURICE DUFRÈNE (1876-1955) RAYON DES SOIERIES. 1930. 47¼x31½ inches, 120x80 cm. Chaix, Paris. Condition A-: minor creases and abrasions in margins and image. Manuel Rosenthal's opera "Silk Department," is advertised here in what has become a classic Art Deco image. Composed in black and white, except for several folds of silk highlighted in pastel shades of yellow, pink and green. Opera 17, Theaterplakate 166, La Femme 196.
