Henry Dropsy (1885-1969)Targa Florio Trophy 1933 Bronze étamé plaque, featuring a bas-relief of a racing driver surrounded by a pack of horses galloping alongside his car. 'Targa Florio 1933' appears on a banner below. At the bottom, a blank cartouche. Signed by the sculptor bottom left. In a 58 x 77 cm frame. 42 X 54 cm The 1933 Targa Florio was won by an Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 'Monza' driven by Antonio Brivio, Marquis Sforza known as « Tonino » (1905-1995).
