Lot description
Doug Danz (American, 1939-2020). Group of five screenprints on paper titled "Vida 2" depicting a symmetrical geometric scene colored vibrant orange, red, and grey. Signed along the lower right; titled along the lower center; each editioned along the lower left. Numbered 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 out of 75. Doug Danz was a watercolorist and silkscreen printmaker whose abstract images are culled from recognizable aspects of the American landscape but move further towards concern with an abstract two-dimensionality. His silkscreen prints have a flat, emblematic presence.
