Paysage avec Figures Signed lower right Oil on canvas, 46.6 x 38.4 cm Provenance: - Kunsthandel Huinck & Scherjon, Amsterdam - Private collection, the Netherlands Note: Victor Vignon was an Impressionist painter known for his serene landscapes, often depicting the rural charm of the French countryside with a subtle interplay of light and colour. Trained by Camille Corot, he later developed a friendship with Vincent van Gogh. Today, his works are featured in the Van Gogh Museum, the Louvre and the Musée d’Orsay, amongst others. * Condition report available upon request
