Portrait of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Signed and dated in pencil lower right: J. H. Lips 1791. Frame dimensions approx. 35 x 42 cm. In good condition with traces of age and use, slight staining. Johann Heinrich Lips (April 29, 1758 in Kloten - May 5, 1817 in Zurich) was a Swiss engraver.
