Arthur Hardwick Marsh (1842-1909) 'The Messenger' signed 'A. H. MARSH.' l.r., watercolour heightened with white 70 x 108cm Exhibited: Franco-British Exhibition, 'British Fine Art' Section, London, 1908. Condition Report: Framed: 98 x 133cm Light cockling. A little foxing starting to emerge in the upper right corner with slight abrasions to the edges, however presents well overall. There is a very thin 5mm strip along the left edge where the work is slightly too small for the frame and a sheet behind has been painted to extend the composition. Not viewed out of glazed frame.
