VALENTINE GREEN (ENGLISH, 1739-1813) AFTER BENJAMIN WEST (AMERICAN, 1738-1820) RELIGIOUS / BIBLICAL ENGRAVING, mezzotint engraving on laid paper, full title "Daniel Interpreting to Belshazzar the Writing on the Wall", published in May 1777 by John Boydell, Cheapside, London. Housed under glass in a modern frame. Circa 1777. 26 1/2" x 21 1/2" sight, 29 1/2" x 24 1/2" OA.
