1936. Oil/canvas. 53 x 70 cm. Lo. ri. sign. and dat. A. Ruths 1936. - Landscape, still life and figure paintress. R. was pupil of her uncle Valentin Ruths, thereafter of H. Luytens at the Antwerp Academy. She travelled Belgium and Italy, every year she spent time on the North Frisian holms. Since 1950 she was honorary member of the Hamburgische Künstlerschaft.
