Michael King (B 1939) American, Signed & Numbered Silkscreen Print. Depicts three young blond men at a beach. Signed in pencil bottom right. Titled in pencil "Beach Party" bottom left. Numbered in pencil 14/60 bottom center. Overall: 33 1/4 X 38 3/4 in. Sight: 23 1/2 X 28 1/2 in. Depth: 1 1/2 in. #2711 . Michael King was born in 1939 in Boston, Massachusetts. Little is known about his life, although he created numerous pop art images mostly consisting of male figures posing in pastel and faded colors. His silkscreen prints, numbered and signed, have appeared at several auctions since the early 2000s, as collectors in the New England area have begun to rediscover his work.
