Un Apres-Midi chez Persia (An afternoon at Persia's) is a splendid oil on canvas by French Modern Impressionist painter Albert Persia whose paintings are in the collections of celebrities Charles Aznavour, Elton John and Elizabeth Taylor. Persia depicts his private garden in Provence where scarlet red flowers and trees offer shaded areas. Through spontaneous and loaded brushstrokes, Persia conveys the South of France's sunlight that permeates all areas of this joyous composition. Signature on lower left: Persia.
