Lot description
John Adrian Darley Dingle, RCA (Cornish Canadian, 1911-1974). An original oil painting on masonite board titled "The Foyer." This figural interior scene depicts a child in white. The artist's signature is located in the lower right. The title is hand-inscribed on the verso. The painting retains a vintage ROBERTS GALLERY (Toronto) label with the artist's name and title, as well as a WALLACK GALLERIES (Ontario) label affixed to the verso. It is presented in a silvered frame. Work Size: 30 x 22 in. Dimensions: 36 X 28 X 1 in. Condition: Good overall condition having mild age related surface wear.
